How sad to go through life and miss Heaven by 18
inches. This is the distance between your head and
heart.
For years many we have gone to church and been
taught about God. Like many religious people we
were taught about God, Baptized and joined the
Church. We are taught live a good moral life and we
will go to Heaven. This is what we call head
knowledge of God. All you know about God is in you
head. You are not trusting God for anything in you
life. Just as we know that George Washington was
our first President, by what our school taught us.
All by head knowledge. With a head knowledge of God
and Heaven, but not trusting in him for salvation.
The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9 that if thou
shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ
and shall believe in thy heart that God hath raised
him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
We must have a Heart knowledge of the Lord Jesus
Christ. We must come to that place in our life
where we trust Jesus Christ with our heart to take
us to Heaven.
You come to this heart knowledge to salvation by
doing what the Bible says about being saved.
Admit you are a sinner. Romans 3:10 - As it is
written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Romans 3:23 - For all
have sinned, and come short of the glory of
God;
We must know that in the sight of God we are
sinners. Admit that all our good works are as
dirty rags.
Admit the penalty against
sin. Romans 5:12- Wherefore, as
by one man sin entered into the world, and death
by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for
that all have sinned: Revelation 21:8 - But
the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable,
and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers,
and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their
part in the lake which burneth with fire and
brimstone: which is the second death.
Man because of his sinful condition will die both
physically and spiritually in hell. Sin has to be
paid for.
Admit Jesus paid your
penalty for your sins. Romans 5:8 - But God
commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we
were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 6:23 - For the
wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is
eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus Christ, our Saviour, paid the price
for our sins. When He died on the cross, He dying
for you and me. He died in our place so we would
not have to go to hell for our sins.
Accept Jesus as your
Saviour and trust him. Romans 10:10 - For with the
heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with
the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:13 - For whosoever
shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be
saved.
You must trust Jesus Christ in your heart to take
you to Heaven. Trusting him and only him. If you
believe you are a sinner and because of your sins
you are going to hell. And trust the death and
blood of the Lord Jesus to forgive you and save
your. Then please pray this sinners prayer,
meaning it in your heart.
Lord Jesus, I
admit that is am a sinner and that you died for me
on the cross. I ask you to come into my heart and
save me. Amen
